Plate and fin heat exchangers:

Principle: It belongs to a static heat recovery device, which uses the temperature and humidity difference between the fresh air and the exhaust air as power to drive them to flow alternately in reverse through the heat exchange partition. According to the different partition materials, it can be divided into total heat exchangers and sensible heat exchangers. The total heat exchanger uses specially treated membranes, while the sensible heat exchanger is made of aluminum foil material.

When indoor exhaust and fresh air pass through the heat exchanger core in a cross pattern, due to the temperature difference and steam pressure difference on both sides of the airflow partition plate, the two airflows exhibit heat and mass transfer phenomena when passing through the partition plate, causing a total heat exchange process.

Application: The structure is relatively simple and does not require additional power systems and energy, so it is often used in small buildings such as hotels and residences.
