The application of cooling heat recovery technology for offshore wind turbines is a model of combining modern energy technology with environmental protection.
We have developed a complete and customized air-to-air cooling system for cooling generators, engine rooms, and converters/transformers. All systems are suitable for both onshore and enclosed offshore applications.
Heat pipe technology: Through heat pipe technology, heat can be more efficiently transferred from the heat source to the radiator or cooling plate, and then the heat dissipation efficiency can be improved by increasing the heat dissipation area or improving the thermal conductivity. The application of this technology in offshore wind turbines helps to solve the heat dissipation problem caused by high ambient temperatures.
Cooling heat exchanger: The cooling heat exchanger is installed on the nacelle of a wind turbine and achieves heat exchange between the cooling fluid and air through the design of multiple fluid and air channels. This design not only increases cooling capacity, but also improves system stability by optimizing aerodynamic balance.
Liquid cooling system: The application of liquid cooling system in offshore wind turbines mainly utilizes cooling medium to transfer the heat inside the inverter to the external environment, thereby achieving heat dissipation effect. Due to the high humidity in the marine environment, traditional air cooling methods have limited efficiency, while liquid cooling systems can avoid the direct effects of sea breeze and seawater, improving the heat dissipation effect.
